Using the mouse and Exploring the map

Mouse wheel: Scroll the mouse wheel forward or up to zoom in. Each wheel click will zoom the map by about 50 percent in height and width

 

     

 

Zoom-in toolbar: Click once on the map to zoom-in to system defined zoom extent or

leftmouse

Click and hold-in left button of mouse and drag a rectangular box in user-defined area of interest

 

 

UseTheMouse

 

Zoom level button: Click on the plus button on the zoom level control to zoom in. Click on minus to zoom out.

 

 

Zoom-out toolbar: Click once to zoom-out to system defined zoom extent or click and hold-in left button of mouse and drag a rectangular box in user-defined area of interest

 

 

Pan toolbar: Tool to navigate on the map. Click and hold left mouse button to area of interest. Drag map to left, to move the map area to west; drag map to right to move the map area to east; drag map to top to move the map area to north and move down to pan to south

 

 

Full extent toolbar: By clicking on this toolbar the whole map area is displayed – the map cover area displayed when the map is accessed for the first time

 

 

Back extent toolbar: Clicking on this tool takes the map back to the previous extent. If you zoomed-in twice, this tool will take to the first extent window

 

 

 

 

 

Forward extent toolbar: After zooming-in one, clicking on the map, once, or dragging a rectangular box, results in a further system-defined zoom extent.

 

 

 

 

UseTheMouse

 

Located in the upper left corner of the map display. Click and hold on the navigation image in the direction you want to re-center the map. You can click on any spot on the navigation image to fine-tune the movement.
